K&N backed Ethan Myatt from Clovis, California races 600cc Micro Sprints at Lemoore Raceway. A Micro Sprint is basically a shrunk down version of a full-sized Sprint Car. Myatt is a high school sophomore holding down a 3.5 GPA, and he's very close friends with another K&N sponsored driver, World of Outlaws racer Jason Meyers. Myatt says, "Meyer has offered up a lot of advice and help - he's a great mentor to me."

Team EM Motorsports is made up of Myatt and his crew chief dad and his grandpa, as well as his best friend from time-to-time.

"Things are looking great so far this year," Myatt said, "Starting off with a second place finish in the first race was a great way to start the season."

In the next three races Myatt went on to finish with a seventh, fifth and eighth place respectively.

Myatt explains, "We put together a brand new car hoping to go for the Stock Class Championship at Lemoore this year. We have struggled every race this year so far, but several weeks ago we made a massive change to the set-up which helped us come from 12th to 8th so we are making progress."

"We are mainly racing Lemoore this year due to the fact that we only have one engine, and don't want to push the issue because we are trying to go for a championship this year," continues Myatt. "Next year, we plan on moving up to the Super 600 class, in that class you can do quite frankly anything to the engine, and you can have the advantage of being able to adjust your shock set-up from the cockpit. The only thing is that in the Super 600 class, the more you do to the engine, the more weight you're required to add to the car."
