Cory Kruseman, owner and operator of Kruseman's Sprint Car and Midget Driving School has been racing for 33 years. "I started racing motorcycles at the age of 6, then moved to go-karts, midgets and sprint cars. I was voted the number one sprint car driver in the world twice, won the sprint car non-wing world championship in 2001, and conquered the Chili Bowl, the biggest midget race of the season, twice," says Kruseman. He has also won a total of 148 sprint car main events and is ranked third on the all time win list for all west coast sprint cars.

In addition, Kruseman has raced in 3 NASCAR Craftsman truck races and competed in an IRL at Texas Motor Speedway in 2002. This long list of accomplishments certainly qualifies Kruseman as an expert racing teacher. He continues to race with his team, Kruseman Motorsports, while operating his successful driving school with his wife Carri.

Located in Ventura, California, the school instructs between 400 and 500 students a year and has been in operation for 11 years. "We have students who have never even seen a sprint car to students that race these cars every week," says Kruseman. The school has also hosted a long list of celebrities, NASCAR drivers, Indy car, drag racing and road course stars. "We also do an Arrive and Race program through our school which allows a student to come through our advanced course, and then rent a car for race night! We supply a top notch race car and a crew that takes care of everything. All the customer has to do is just show up and race," says Kruseman.

The school is always looking to improve and exceed the expectations of their students. "We are doing a lot of driver development in order to help take some of our drivers to the next level," says Kruseman. These select drivers are put in an extensive training program that includes participation in high profile races. "We also collaborate on product development with companies like K&N as a result of logging so many days of track time," says Kruseman. "K&N is the best! There are no better products on the market that protect your engine and make it faster in the process. It's a shame they don't build products for the rest of my car as well!"

Kruseman relates that he has been fortunate to be able to make a living from his love of racing for the last 21 years, so he and his wife want every racing enthusiast to have a chance to experience the thrill of the track. "You don't have to be a professional race car driver to attend our racing school. We want anyone who loves racing to come out and have some fun."
