4 Wheel Parts CEO and LOORRS Racer Greg Adler on Undercover Boss

Greg Adler President & CEO of 4 Wheel Parts to be Undercover Boss

As a figure head of 4 Wheel Parts, and a successful off road short course racer, it seems hard to believe that Greg Adler could penetrate his organization without being recognized

4 Wheel Parts is the global leader in off-road truck, Jeep, and SUV aftermarket performance products. 4 Wheel Parts follows a unique business model as it functions both as a direct retailer for consumers and a distributor to smaller shops or repair facilities. Greg Adler is the President & CEO of 4 Wheel Parts, but also races professionally in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) in the Pro4 unlimited class. As a figure head of a large enthusiast driven company, and a successful off road short course racer, it seems hard to believe that he could penetrate 4 Wheel Parts without being recognized.

However, this is exactly what Greg Adler managed to pull off for an episode of the CBS Television Network’s series “Undercover Boss.” The series is a two-time Emmy Award-winning reality show in its seventh season on CBS. The premise of this reality show is to anonymously follow high-level executives who attempt to slip into their own organization “undercover.” The show’s makeup artists had their work cut out for them if Greg Adler was to successfully pull this off. Greg was transformed from a seemingly fit man with a full head of hair and beard, to a slightly overweight balding gentleman sporting mutton chops & thick rimmed eye glasses.

During Adler’s time spent working alongside the folks that keep the wheels of 4 Wheel Parts turning, he performed a variety of jobs from retail sales to distribution operations. “4 Wheel Parts is in the midst of an aggressive national expansion and going undercover allowed me the opportunity to step out of my role as CEO and into many of the jobs that are the backbone of our company,” said Adler. “I learned a great deal about our business from the experience and as a result we have been able to enact many companywide initiatives. Most importantly, going undercover reinforced the importance of family to me and reminded me that as the business grows, we continue to keep the feeling of family that is the legacy of 4 Wheel Parts.”

The episode of the CBS TV Network’s series Undercover Boss featuring Greg Adler will premiere on Friday February 5, 2016 at 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT. The Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series, where Greg Adler drives his K&N Air Filters equipped Pro4 short course truck, will kick off its 2016 season on March 19-20, 2016 at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona.
