K&N Race Specific XStream Air Flow Air Cleaner Lid Built For On-Road Racing Use

K&N XStream Air Flow Tops replace the lid of existing round carburetor air filter assemblies thereby adding additional air filter surface as well as increased airflow. The additional filtration area redirects airflow inside the air cleaner allowing the carburetor and engine to pull in more air for even greater performance. K&N XStream Air Flow Top, number 66-1400R, takes this concept one step further for racing use. XStream Air Flow Top 66-1400R is made with fewer layers of cotton to provide even more airflow and less restriction than a standard XStream Air Flow Top.
As a result, XStream Air Flow Top 66-1400R is intended for racing use on paved surfaces only. This race-only X-Stream air flow top is ideal for road courses, oval tracks, or the drag strip where only minimal engine protection with almost unrestricted airflow is sought after. Race-only XStream air flow top, 66-1400R, is cleanable and reusable using standard K&N air filter service products. It can be run oiled, or dry, for racing on paved surfaces only. XStream Air Flow Top filter 66-1400R delivers acceptable protection for racing engines, and will work with a wide range of applications. This XStream Air Flow Top filter lid has a 14 inch outside diameter featuring a durable black powder coated ring with K&N logos embossed around the rim.
